In this perfection driven society, the Eating Disorder Center of Denver is sensitive to the cultural needs of men and women and is dedicated to empowering change.  Under the guidance of Joseph Christenson, MD, Acting Medical Director; Program Director Trish O’Donnell, MA, ATR-BC, LPC, and Clinical Director Tamara Pryor, PhD, we offer help and hope through the best of conventional and integrative therapies for patients and family members affected by anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorders.  Our psychiatrists, physicians, clinicians, experiential arts therapists, family therapists and dietitians work together to match each patient’s motivation and change style to the appropriate treatment modality. In matching the skills, passion and excellence of our interdisciplinary team with the specific needs of each patient, we create an environment where patients and staff, together, are able to celebrate success.

Primary Therapist position open -- The Eating Disorder Center of Denver is searching for a MA and/or PhD level clinician who is passionate and energetic about the treatment of eating disordered patients.  Primarily responsible for the direction of care of Partial Hospitalization Program patients as part of interdisciplinary team and reports to Tamara Pryor, PhD, Clinical Director.  Provides individual therapy, group therapy, treatment planning, ensures implementation of the treatment plan in all aspects of programming and plans for a smooth transition and discharge from treatment.  The required qualifications for this position are license eligible in Colorado, Master’s degree in behavioral health field; experience working individually and in groups with eating disordered clients; and dual diagnosis; and, strong leadership, oral and written communication skills.If you are interested in applying for this position, please respond to Dr. Tamara Pryor at tpryor@edcdenver.com.
